On Wednesday (May 13), a total of 469 applicants participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted online by the Center for International Affairs (PHI) of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. These 469 candidates earned the opportunity to proceed to the CBT stage after successfully passing the administrative selection for the Rector Scholarship of the 2026/2027 Academic Year, surpassing other candidates from a total of 1,355 international applicants from various countries.
This Academic Potential Test was carefully and systematically prepared by the PHI Team of UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta under the coordination of Wildi Adila, M.A., in collaboration with the Information Technology and Data Center Team. The test materials covered various areas, including literacy, religious moderation, verbal analogy, numerical ability, verbal reasoning, logical reasoning, and spatial ability. More than just a university admission requirement, the CBT was designed to assess applicants’ cognitive abilities, academic readiness, and potential for academic success at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta.
The examination was conducted simultaneously from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (WIB/UTC+7). Participants were required to complete 50 questions within 60 minutes through the online examination system prepared by the committee. To maintain honesty, transparency, and objectivity throughout the selection process, all participants were also required to join a Zoom meeting and keep their cameras on during the examination so that the process could be monitored directly by the committee. Applicants who achieve scores above the established baseline score will be eligible to proceed to the interview stage.
